International Council Holds Initial Meeting Tomorrow

Informal Discussion To Follow Talk

By Elliott ON N.r.a.

At the first meeting of the International Council, to be held in Phillips Brooks House tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock, William Y. Elliott, professor of government, will give a talk on "The United States Foreign Policy and the N.R.A." An informal discussion will follow the formal meeting.

The International Council is an organization under the direction of the foreign student committee of Phillips Brooks House. Its primary purpose is to promote discussions on the current topics of international interest, and to this end, speakers will give talks at the meetings, which will be held every three weeks.

In the last two years, the registration of foreign students in the University has fallen off considerably, therefore, to keep the smaller number together, these Council meetings are to be especially emphasized throughout the year. All foreign students, and any other members of the University who are interested, are invited to attend these discussions.
