Not even the Crimson's ace goalie, Barney Bernard, could prevent Maryland's lacrosse team from racking up an 11 to 0 victory over the visitors in Byrd Stadium Tuesday.

Bernard, former all-Maryland scholastic goalie, had 22 saves, several of which were of the sensational nature. But the Harvard attackers took very few shots and had the ball stolen from them before they could place themselves in position to score. It was their first game of the season.
