Yale Charity Totals Again Beat Harvard

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yale students dug deep in their pockets last week as they topped their Charities Drive's goal of $37,000 by over $2,000.

Incomplete returns continued to show that Yale residents donate over 50 per cent more funds for charities through the student committee than do Harvard undergraduates. Harvard's biggest donation year was 1949, when about $23,000 was collected.

Included in the totals for Yale, however, are graduate school and faculty donations. Harvard runs separate drives for each major graduate school.
