Women's Lacrosse Suffers 13-6 Loss in First Round of Ivy League Tournament

The Crimson qualified for the 2022 Ivy League Tournament after wrapping up the regular season with two essential victories. It then suffered a 13-6 first round loss at the hands of the Princeton Tigers to end its season.

A Tale of Two Halves: Women's Lacrosse Uses Second Half Comeback to Beat Columbia, 14-8

After a rough past couple of games, the women’s lacrosse team got back on track over the weekend. The Crimson (5-6, 3-2 Ivy League) traveled to the Big Apple for a Saturday afternoon showdown with the Columbia Lions (2-10, 0-4 Ivy League). As Harvard left New York City, the team returned to Cambridge with an impressive 14-8 victory.

While the rest of the student body dispersed for a much-needed mid-semester recess, the Harvard women’s lacrosse team (3-3, 1-0 Ivy League) traveled to Jacksonville, FL for two Spring Break matchups.

Women's Lacrosse To Return to Action Sunday after 715-Day Hiatus

As the cold weather slowly (but surely) starts to subside, the melting snow and ice not only mark the early signs of spring, but also the long-awaited return of the women’s lacrosse team to Jordan Field. The Crimson takes the field against the Colorado Buffaloes this Sunday, Feb. 20, and when it does, it will compete in its first official match in 715 days.


30 Years Later: The Historic Season That Harvard Women’s Lacrosse Was Perfect

It has been 30 years since the Harvard women’s lacrosse team made history. In 1990, the Crimson outscored Maryland 8-7 to win the first National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championship for a Harvard women's team.


End of the Road

Last weekend's loss versus Penn marked the end of the 2019 season for Harvard, but much of the squad, like sophomore goalie Grace Rotondo, will be returning next year.
