The Harvard field hockey team dropped to 3-8 on the year after falling 3-1 to Bucknell on Saturday at Jordan Field. Sophomore forward Sydney Jenkins, shown above in earlier action, assisted the Crimson’s lone score, a goal from junior Rachel Rosenfeld in the 43rd minute that pulled the squad within one.


Painter's Stroke

Rookie Noel Painter, shown above, and the Crimson failed to find the equalizer against Dartmouth on Saturday. Harvard was limited for the most part to its own half, with the Big Green’s strong midfield dominating possession. Maya Herm broke the scoreless deadlock at 49:41.


Young McDonald

Freshman defender Catriona McDonald scored an unassisted goal against New Hampshire on Sunday to tie the game at one. Harvard and the visitors exchanged scores until New Hampshire scored its winning tally.


SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

With her squad knotted up with Cornell on Saturday afternoon, freshman midfielder Sydney Jenkins (shown here in earlier action) knocked in a goal—her fourth of the year and second game-winner—in the 60th minute to lead Harvard to a 3-1 road victory against the Big Red. The win pushed 3-1 Harvard into a tie with four other contenders for first place in the Ancient Eight.


Keller Instinct

Junior forward Emma Keller looks to pass the ball during Harvard’s Saturday contest with No. 7 Stanford. The Cardinal built a three-goal lead before Keller put away a deflection in the box to bring the deficit back down to two. Stanford capped off its strong performance with a late tally.


Magic the Gathering

Members of the Harvard Radcliffe Science Fiction Association tested their skills against one another during matches of Magic the Gathering. The group practices various forms of the game, including legacy, standard, Elder Dragon Highlander, and cube draft.
