CLASS DAY.

JUNE 25, 1880.

[By request of the Committee we reprint the following instructions.]

AT 9.30 A. M., the Senior Class will assemble in front of Holworthy Hall and march to the Chapel, where prayer will be offered by the Rev. A. P. Peabody, D. D.

At 10.30, Sanders Theatre will be open to those having tickets.

At 11.15, the Senior Class will reassemble in front of Holworthy and march to the Theatre, where the exercises will occupy nearly two hours.

From 2 to 5 P. M., there will be music in the Yard.

From 3 to 5 o'clock, there will be dancing in Memorial Hall.

At 5 o'clock, Harvard Hall, Holden Chapel, and the entrance to the seats around the Tree will be opened to those having tickets.

At 5.15, the class will reassemble in front of Holworthy, march through the Yard and cheer the College buildings, then to the Tree, where the usual exercises and the singing of the Class Song will take place.

During the exercises at the Tree, the College Yard will be fenced off and cleared, and during the remainder of the afternoon and evening a ticket will be required of every gentleman entering the portion of the Yard enclosed by the fence.

In order to facilitate the clearing of the Yard, Seniors are requested to see that their guests who are not at the Tree shall be in the parlors.

From 7 to 9 P. M., the President will receive the Senior Class and their friends at his house.

From 7.30 to 11.30, there will be illuminations and music in the portion of the Yard fenced off.

From 6 to 8 P. M., the Hemenway Gymnasium will be open for inspection.

From 8 to 11, there will be dancing in Memorial Hall and in the Gymnasium.

At 8.30, and during other portions of the evening, there will be singing by the Glee Club in front of Holworthy.

All Seniors and Students are obliged to have tickets to the different exercises, except where they go by classes.

Seniors are requested to appear in dress suits, white cravats, and silk hats, both on Class Day and Commencement Day.

Seniors are requested to avoid any absurdity of dress at the exercises around the Tree.

Each ticket for Memorial Hall will be good for both afternoon and evening. The entrance will be at the south door, the exit from the north door.

The entrances to the portion of the Yard fenced off will be between Massachusetts and Harvard, Holworthy and Thayer, Grays and Weld.

The exits from the Yard will be between Holworthy and Stoughton, University and Thayer, Massachusetts and Harvard, Grays and Weld, Grays and Matthews.

In order to assist the Committee, all students are requested to conform strictly to the above arrangements.
