To the Editors of the Crimson:

In reply to the statement which was published in yesterday morning's CRIMSON concerning the use of Ninety-seven's cheer by Ninety-eight, we beg to state that it was not the freshmen who made use of it. We are not ignorant of Ninety-seven's proprietorship. It seems to us, however, that it would have shown a better spirit if more members of Ninety-seven had been present to make use of the cheer for themselves.
