The Tennis Association has arranged to have thirty dirt courts on Jarvis Field, fifteen of which will probably be ready by May 12. The others will not be finished till the fall. As yet no arrangements have been made for a spring tournament, but undoubtedly one will be held.

The interscholastic tournament will be held on Saturday, May 12, on the new courts if they are ready. If they are not the tournament will be held at the Cambridge Casino on Mt. Auburn street. There were sixty-six entries last year, and there will probably be more this year. Entries are expected from thirteen schools and must be in before April 20. For first prize a silver cup is offered, for second a racquet; and for the school winning the most points a banner. Mr. Whittelsey will as usual act as referee.
