Prospect Union Graduation.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

So successful has been the season's work at the Prospect Union that the officers of the Union decided to have exercises which should include the giving of diplomas to those who have earned them. This was the first time that such a plan has been followed, and the exercises, which were held Thursday evening, were interesting. About 150 members were graduated, receiving from President Ely diplomas which represented three grades, one for faithful attendance, another for good progress in the work of the year, and the third grade for excellent progress. Addresses to the members were made by Professor Edward Cummings and by George L. Paine '96. Declamations and music also formed a part of the programme of the evening.
