Physical Directors' Association.

The physical directors of a number of the leading universities and colleges met Dec. 31 at the Knickerbocker Athletic Clubhouse, New York, and formed an association to bring about uniformity in gymnasium work and physical training. The officers selected were: President, Dr. Seaver of Yale; vice-president; secretary and treasurer, Dr. Savave, Columbia. These, with Dr. Sargent, Harvard, and Professor Cann, New York University, constitute the council.
