As a result of the defeat by Lafayette on Saturday, the University of Pennsylvania eleven has undergone several changes this week. The result has been a great improvement in the playing.

Outland has started to play again, but has been put at quarterback, a new position for him. He has already infused much spirit and dash into the team. Overfield went from tackle to his old position at centre on Monday, where his three years of experience should make him more valuable to the team, then when at tackle. McCracken has been put at right halfback, where his experience in the guardsback formation makes him a strong runner and interferer. Stebie and Teas have taken Overfield's and McCracken's places at tackle and guard respectively, and Coombs and Reugenberg, once backs, are now the ends. The backfield has been much strengthened by Outland and McCracken, but the tackles are weak and the ends are uncertain.
