UNIVERSITY MEETING TO-NIGHT

Opening Meeting of the Year.--Dean Briggs will preside.

The University meeting will be held this evening at 7.30 in Peabody Hall, Brooks House. Its purpose will be to present to the members of the University the aims and opportunities of the various religious and philanthropic organizations of Harvard; the Student Volunteer Committee, Young Men's Christian Association, Prospect Union, St. Paul's Society, Catholic Club, Committee on University Meetings, and the Religious Union. Dean Briggs will preside and representatives of the different organizations will speak. It is earnestly hoped that a large number will attend this meeting as it will concern matters of interest and importance to most students of the University.
