It has been announced by President Tucker of Dartmouth College, that the Amos Tuck Endowment Fund of $300,000 will be used to establish a department for instruction in private and public business.

The Boston Athletic Association has offered a silver cup for the future regattas of the Boston Interscholastic Rowing Association. It is to become the permanent property of the school winning it three times, not necessarily in succession.

It has been announced at Princeton that J. Bradley, captain of the '97 baseball team, has been secured to coach Princeton's nine for the coming season. W. Clark, catcher of the Boston League team, has been engaged to coach the players during the early part of the season, as Bradley will not begin his duties until May 1.

At the meeting of the Wellesley College Club in New York on Saturday, President Low of Columbia, announced that Barnard College would henceforth be entitled to the same privileges as Columbia. All degrees from Barnard will henceforth have the same value as a Columbia degree. Barnard College, however, will attend to its own financial matters and will regulate its own curriculum.

The preparations for Cornell's exhibit at the Paris exposition have been completed and the exhibit will soon be sent abroad. The general university collections consist of over one hundred volumes, including several volumes of presidents' reports, registers, and various university publications. Sibley College and the College of Civil Engineering will have special exhibits, which will consist largely of charts showing the growth and nature of the courses of instruction.
