The Leiter cup baseball games played yesterday afternoon resulted as follows:
No Names 14, Incognitos 3.
Dew Drops 16, Dinwits 6.
Jumbos 14, Rubbernecks 8.
The Hot Tomales forfeited their game to the Minced Chickens.
The game between the No Names and Incognitos was rather one-sided. The latter team played a good fielding game but was unable to hit the ball. The No Names played strongly and won out with ease.
The game between the Dew Drops and Dinwits was slow and unexciting. The Dew Drops took the lead in the second inning and held it to the end. The fielding was fairly good on both sides, but Windsor's steady pitching won the game for the Dew Drops.
The Jumbos defeated the Rubbernecks with considerable ease, but the game was the best one played so far. The fielding and batting were both excellent. The Jumbo team is not so good as it was last year, when it won the series, although several of the old team are still playing.
