At the annual meeting and dinner of the Association of Harvard Class Secretaries held in the Union last Saturday, the following officers, who constitute an executive committee, were elected for the ensuing year: Francis Almy '79, chairman, A. J. Garceau '91, secretary and H. M. Williams '85.

Mr. W. R. Thayer '81; the guest of the association, made some remarks on the non-uniformity of class reports. He pointed out that at present it is very hard to compare the statistics of the classes owing to the great diversity of arrangement and the different symbols used in the reports. It was voted to authorize the chairman to appoint a committee to assist Mr. Thayer in compiling changes proposed in the present system. It was also decided to place in the hands of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association the proposed arrangement for procuring reduced railroad rates for graduates who live more than 75 miles from Boston and who wish to return for Commencement. The secretary was instructed to ask for expressions of opinion on the advisability of having the Union provide the different classes with spreads on Commencement Day.
