JOINT GYMNASTIC EXHIBITION

With Columbia Tonight at 8 in the Gymnasium.--List of Interesting Events.

The University gymnasium team will give a dual gymnastic exhibition with Columbia this evening at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium. For several years Harvard has had no gymnastic team, but this year by hard and consistent training under the direction of Mr. F. Dohs and G. F. Evans '05, a team of much ability has been developed. The Columbia team is also strong being considered one of the best in the country. The meet tonight will in no sense be a competition, but simply a joint exhibition of the two colleges. Besides the regular gymnastic events Harvard will give an exhibition in fencing, boxing, jiujitsu wrestling and track events. The program, subject to change in the order of the events, is to be as follows: Long and side horse; club swinging (Columbia): track athletics (Harvard); fencing (Harvard); ground and lofty tumbling; parallel bars; intermission; flying rings; club swinging (Harvard); jiujitsu wrestling (Harvard); horizontal bar: boxing (Harvard); pyramids (Columbia).

The teams will be composed of the following men:

Track events: Pole vault--A. Robeson '04, E. M. Sawyer '04, A. Goodhue '04, R. B. Gring '05, W. P. Henneberry '06. High jump--F. M. Murphy 1L., A. Derby 1L., R. Robeson '06. Putting 16 pound shot--A. Goodhue '04, F. H. Schoenfuss '05, H. LeMoyne '07.

Fencing (one bout)--R. S. Earle 2L. vs. H. W. Holmes 1G.

Jiujitsu wrestling (two bouts)--H. Y. Yagi 2G. vs. C. Yokoyama 1G.; F. C. Lewis 2L. vs. H. Y. Yagi 2G.

Boxing (two bouts)--R. Inglis 1L. vs. R. M. Adams '05; G. P. Wolcott 2L. vs. S. O'Donnell, boxing instructor.

Music will be furnished by an orchestra and after the exhibition a supper will be served to both teams in the dining room of the Union.

The price of admission will be 50 cents (H. A. A. ticket holders 25 cents). Tickets are now on sale at Leavitt and Peirce's and at Amee's.
