M. Rene Millet gave the fourth of the Cercle Francais lectures yesterday afternoon in Sanders Theatre on "La Question d'Orient depuis l'Apparition des Turcs, et le Role de la France."

M. Millet began with a review of the physiographic features of the Balkan Peninsula, which, in the past, as in the present, have made it the storm center of the Eastern question. He then summer up the historic influences which have moulded the East of today and gave a vivid description of the countries and the men who have been prominent in its history.

M. Millet will give his fifth lecture on Monday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock, on "L'Occident et la Mediterranee. Les Rapports avec 1'Islam avant et apres la Prise de Grenade."
