Under the auspices of the Phillips Brooks House Association a meeting has been arranged for 7.30 o'clock this evening in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House, at which Rev. Herbert S. Johnson '91 will speak on the movement for reform in the administration of the Independent State of the Congo. Mr. Johnson, who is president of the Congo Reform Association recently organized in Boston, is devoting his means and time to the cause of informing the American people of the abuses and cruelties practiced in the Congo country under the government of Leopold II of Belgium. The regular Thursday evening meeting of the Christian Association will be combined with this meeting which will be open to all members of the University.
