Fire in Foxcroft House Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Shortly after 10 o'clock yesterday morning a small fire broke out in room 10, on the second floor of Foxcroft House, and soon spread to several adjoining rooms. The exact cause of the fire is unknown. It was kept under control for about 15 minutes by a chemical engine, until the arrival of the Fire Department, engines, when it was rapidly extinguished.

The damage done to University property amounts to about $300, but it is covered by insurance. The loss, sustained by the occupants of the building, is small. Repairs will be begun at once and will probably be completed in a week.
