Candidates Meet in Union at 7.--Regular Work Begins This Afternoon.

A meeting of all candidates for the University and Freshman track teams will be held in the Assembly Room of the Union this evening at 7 o'clock. Captain Rand will speak on the plans for the year, and Coaches Donovan and Quinn will outline the work to be done.

Regular work will commence this afternoon; track-event men should report at either 3 or 4 o'clock to Coach Donovan in the Gymnasium, and field-event men to Coach Quinn at the same times in the baseball cage. Men having afternoon College work may arrange with the coaches for special hours in the morning; regular morning squads will be arranged later. The board track on Holmes Field has been completed and will be ready for use this afternoon. Track-event men are urged to get their lockers in the Gymnasium as soon as possible, for the first to come will get the best lockers.
