At a meeting held yesterday afternoon in Sever 1, the Harvard Municipal Club was formally organized. Its object is to investigate and make a study of city government in the United States, and it will be aided in this through lectures by prominent municipal reformers. Sylvester Baxter, Robert Treat Paine '88, Lincoln Stiffens, and C. R. Woodruff have consented to speak before the club.
A temporary committee was appointed to consider suggestions, and draw up a constitution.
