Last Two Performances of Hasty Pudding Club Show Today.

The last performances of "Below Zero," the Hasty Pudding Club production for this year, will be presented in Copley Hall, Boston, today,--a matinee this afternoon at 2.15 o'clock and an evening performance at 8.15 o'clock.

The plot of the play is as follows: James Higdig, president of the Ice Trust, discovers that his men in Hugglesland have struck, thereby tying up the American ice supply. Henry Chalkstones, in love with Gloriana Griggs, who is in turn loved by Dardanelles Bixby, persuades Higdig to send his rival to Hugglesland to break the strike, leaving Gloriana to him.

The scene of the second act is in Hugglesland, near the North Pole. Upon the arrival of Bixby and his impecunious friend Snaffles, the strikers are invited to seize him and are about to throw him to the polar bears. Higdig, however, arrives at the right moment. Gloriana and Chalkstones, now married, appear, and everything turns out all right. Bixby becoming engaged to Anne Higdig who has been doing settlement work among the Eskimos.
