Competition for Tennis Managership

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A new managerial competition will be opened to 1914 this year for the recently created position of assistant manager of tennis. Candidates are to report at the Athletic Office Wednesday morning at 8.30 o'clock. The competition will be long one, lasting till the end of the fall tennis season about November 1, but it will not be particularly severe.

Up until this year the captain of the University team has acted as tennis manager exofficio, but since the duties of the office include not only the management of the University team but also general supervision over all tennis matters in the University, it has been found necessary to place the work in the hands of a man who can give it his full attention.
