Candidates who have signed the bluebook at Leavitt and Peirce's signifying their desire to play class basketball will be called out this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock at the Hemenway Gymnasium, where practice will take place. Forty-three men have signed up--eight Seniors, 15 Juniors and 20 Sophomores. Men may still report, and all unclassified students who wish to play may join the squad of the class in which they would naturally belong.
D. E. Walter 1G.B., who is already a Freshman basketball coach, has been secured to instruct the class teams. Walter was a star on the Lebanon Valley College basketball team and has spent several winters coaching teams in Pennsylvania.
An interclass series of games will start after the mid-year's and will continue till the end of March. At the end of this series it is planned to organize an informal College five to compete with the Law and other graduate school teams.
