The University soccer team fought the team from Springfield Y. M. C. A. to a scoreless the Saturday afternoon in a see-saw game on Soldiers Field. Each team made several shots at goal, but the brilliant defensive work of the goal-guards held both scores down to zero.

Captain Masters of the University team was out of the game on account of an injury to his ankle which he received in the Dartmouth game. Murray took his place at center half. Heath at left half and Cummins at goal did good work for the University.

The Freshman soccer team was defeated by the faster Andover twelve by the score of 4 to 0. This was the Freshman's second game and second defeat of the season.
