DORMITORY CHAIRMEN MEET THIS EVENING TO TURN IN REPORTS

PLEDGES TAKEN THIS NOON AT UNION AND MEMORIAL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The degree of progress of the Undergraduate Endowment Fund Drive will be definitely ascertained at a very important meeting of all dormitory chairmen at 7.30 o'clock this evening in the Living Room of the Union. At this time, form cards, which have been sent out to the chairmen, will be handed in, showing the number of men in each dormitory, the number of men approached, those subscribed, and the total amount given. From this data the percent of progress in the College will be calculated.

Chairmen Must Bring Reports

Consequently it is very important for the success of the drive that no chairman fails to bring his reports completely filled out, to this meeting. The committee in charge of the drive expects that the subscriptions will, over the recent weekend, have approached near the 100 percent mark, so that comparatively little canvassing will remain for the last stage of the drive. But judging from the preliminary reports received from the dormitory chairmen on last Saturday, the canvass in the College must receive a decided boost, if the 100 percent goal is to be reached within the next two days. It is therefore urged that all who can subscribe today in order that the first dormitory reports compiled tonight be as complete as possible.

In order to facilitate the giving of subscriptions among undergraduates living outside the dormitories, pledges will be received beginning today at the Union and Memorial Hall Dining Rooms during the lunch hour. Such subscriptions may also be taken to the Crimson Building and men should remember that pledges may be made in any desired form convenient to the individual subscriber.
