Two contributions of unusual interest have just been made to the University Endowment Fund. The first comes through William T. Reid '01, former head coach of the baseball team, and principal of the Hill School at Belmont, Calif., which has recently been closed. The contribution, which represents the sale of some school property, is made in memory of Harry Howard Hill o'7, and is for the specific purpose of purchasing books for the English Department.
The second gift is that of Judge Marcus Morton, and is in addition to that already made by him through the Yale Club.
