President Eliot will speak on "The Function of Education in Heterogeneous Democracies" at 4.30 o'clock on Tuesday, October 17, in Emerson D.

For the first time since President Eliot, a year ago, made it his principle never to address evening meetings, an opportunity will be offered to all members of the University to hear him speak in public. The meeting is being held under the auspices of the University Woodrow Wilson Club.
