UNIVERSITY NINE TO OPPOSE NORTHEASTERN THIS AFTERNOON AT 4

SHUGRUE OR RUSSELL TO START ON MOUND

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University nine will oppose the Northeastern College team this afternoon on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock in the second of the four games scheduled to be played before starting on Saturday for the southern training trip.

Coach Slattery will start practically the same team today which disposed of Northeastern last year by a 16 to 4 score. Shugrue or Russell, however, will take Goode's place on the mound.

Although Northeastern was defeated by Tufts Saturday 5-1, the infield of the former team which has been entirely changed since last year, showed surprising speed, pulling off three fast double plays. Cotter, who struck out five men in five innings Saturday, will pitch for the visitors' this afternoon.
