The Freshman baseball team will go to Andover today to face the strong Academy nine at 3 o'clock. The school boys have an especially strong team this year. The pitching staff is especially formidable and in the M. I. P. Freshman game, Shoap distinguished himself by striking out 20 Engineer batters in eight innings.
Though the schoolboys lose their opening game to the Springfield yearlings by a 2-1 score, they have more than made up for the loss. Staging a spectacular rally in the ninth, they even came a 2-1 lead and defeated the Yale seconds by the score of 4-2.
