A cracked shaft on the "Priscilla", the special Fall River Line steamer on which nearly 700 members of the University made the trip from Fall River to New York last night caused the steamer's operating certificate to be revoked in 1921, it was learned yesterday afternoon. Officials of the United States Steamboat Inspection Service declared it possible that the trouble had since been repaired.
