The University lacrosse team in its first three games of the season was successively defeated by the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers College, and the Crescent Athletic Club of Brooklyn, New York.

In the first game of the spring trip, played against the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on April 17, the University was scored against five times in each of the two halves by the red and blue, a team which last year was defeated by the University 1-0.

Two days later, April 19, at New Brunswick, New Jersey, Rutgers College barely prevented a tie score when Dickinson on that team scored a lone goal during the first half.

The final game of the trip was with the strong Crescent Athletic Club of Brooklyn, New York, the score resulting in a defeat of the University 11-2.
