EIGHT NEW SQUASH COURTS WILL RELIEVE CONGESTION

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Eight new squash courts will be added to the Freshman gymnasium this summer according to the announcement made yesterday by the Department of Physical Education. The work will be started at once and it is expected that the courts will be ready for use next September.

The new additions will greatly relieve the congestion at the University Squash Courts since Freshmen will be allowed to use courts there only during the morning periods. Freshmen who elect squash as their compulsory exercise will be allotted periods of play during the afternoon at the Freshman courts only.

Three of the eight new courts will be built on either end of the Freshman gymnasium and two rooms now used for wrestling will be converted.
