INSTALL ELECTRIC LIGHTS IN STAIRWAYS OF STADIUM

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The stairways in the Stadium will be illuminated with electric light after every football game this fall.

A power line has been run all around the gallery, and it is expected that the installation will be completed by the Holy Cross Game.

The reason for the innovation is the fear that on dark days a large crowd, pouring down the narrow stairways, might cause a few injuries.

In addition to the electric work being done, workmen are busy painting the iron grills and renovating the signs.

The Shepard Store broadcasting station, WNAC has installed a small portable house under the gallery to house the speech amplifying equipment, used for the broadcasting of the games.
