The call for candidates for the University and Freshman wrestling teams made by Coach W. E. Lewis officially opens the season for the sport in the present school year. All candidates will meet this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the wrestling room in Hemenway Gymnasium. Coach Lewis and Captain F. B. Hayne '26 will speak to the men who wish to try out for the teams.

Five men from last year have returned, and two other men from the team in 1922-23 are expected to report, so that the prospects for a successful season are very good. In addition last year's Freshman team will provide some good material to fill the few vacancies on the squad.

The Freshman team will be picked from the members of the regular classes in wrestling which are being held as part of the regular first-year courses in physical training. All men from the Freshman class may secure enough preliminary training in these classes to enable them to enter the first elimination bouts early in January.
