The entire Freshman class will meet in the New Lecture Hall next Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, in order to discuss concentration and distribution.
President Lowell will be the principal speaker, and Assistant Dean Delmar Leighton '19, Secretary of the Committee on the Choice of Electives, will describe the application of the system. President Lowell will dwell on the purpose of concentration and its value in vocational training.
The meeting is occasioned by the fact that all Freshmen will be required next week to fill out forms stating the field in which they mean to concentrate during the next three years of their college course. This is the third year in which such meetings have been held. As the complete system which will govern Freshmen's studies in future years will be discussed, it has been required that every Freshman attend.
