UNIVERSITY QUINTET TRAMPLES ON MAINE

BARBEE AND O'CONNELL SHINE FOR HARVARD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University quintet decisively repulsed the invading contingent from the Pine tree state in Hemenway gymnasium last night with a score of 53 to 25. A good passing attack gave Harvard an early lead. At the end of the half the score stood 32 to 10. With this lead many men were used to finish the game, piling up a lead on the weakening University of Maine forces.

After two weeks of inaction due to illness, J. W. Baldwin '28, star forward, returned to the regular lineup. Barbee and O'Connell starred for Harvard while Branscom scintillated for Maine.

The summary follows: HARVARD  U OF MAINE O'Connell, J. Harper, l.f.  r.g., Fitzhugh Baldwin, Combs, r.f.  l.g., Abbott Green, McCurdy, c.  c., Branscom Barbee, Stone, W. Harper, l.g.  r.f., Stone Burns, Hatch, r.g.  l.f. Daly
