FRESHMAN HOCKEY TEAM DOWNS MILTON SEXTET

SCHOOLBOYS UNABLE TO SCORE, BEATEN 3 TO 0

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The 1932 hockey team swept to its third straight victory by defeating Milton Academy on the preparatory school's rink by a 3 to 0 score yesterday afternoon. The first year six, by shutting out the repeated tries for goals made by the Milton forwards, kept the slate clean of any score against them.

W. B. Wood '32, shifty first year center, played the chief role in the Freshman victory and twice succeeded in getting the puck past the Milton goalie, Thompson, who was directly responsible for keeping the score so low. F. R. Stubbs '32, right wingman, did not share in the scoring but his steady pass work aided materially in the Crimson victory. Potter Palmer '32 stood forth in the defense line where his timely poke-checking frequently interrupted Milton sallies.

The preparatory school outfit had its chief strength in Thompson who played a stellar game at goal and made a variety of spectacular and seemingly impossible stops.
