Hanover, N. H., Oct. 24--The Dartmouth eleven went through its final practice session this afternoon in preparation for the game at Cambridge on Saturday. Throughout the afternoon's drill, the first three teams took turns on the defensive against a team which put on Harvard plays as interpreted by the Dartmouth scouts. Coach Cannell has emphasized defensive play throughout the week's practice, with the result that little stress has been placed upon offensive drills.

Although his knee is still weak, Barber, the 216-pound tackle, returned to the first team today, but trainer Hillman expressed doubt as to the possibility of his starting the game Saturday. It was officially announced at the close of practice that Captain Armstrong would certainly be in the starting lineup in the Stadium.

The team will run through a limbering up practice tomorrow morning leaving here on a special train in the afternoon.
