LOWELL SPEAKS TO 1933 AT STANDISH SMOKER

Informal Gathering to be Last of its Kind This Year Dean Chauncey Also on Program

President Lowell will be the leading speaker at the Standish Hall smoker which is to be held for members of that dormitory at 7:30 o'clock this evening. This will be the last of the four annual dormitory smokers which are held every fall under the direction of the dormitory committees.

Henry Chauncey '28, assistant dean in charge of the Freshman Class will be the other speaker on the program; humorous entertainment will be furnished by Ellery Sedgewick '32 and W. S. Warner, Jr. '32, magicians. Dean Chauncey and the two magicians were feature entertainers at the Smith Halls smoker, which was held about two weeks ago on the same evening as those in McKinlock and Gore Halls.

Sterling Dow '26, head proctor of Standish Hall will preside at the gathering: members of the dormitory committee who have arranged for the smoker are R. G. Coburn Jr. '33, R. H. Ballowell '33, F.P. Locke '33, B. E. Newcomb '33, C. K. Seyferi '33, and B. B. Wygant Jr. '33.
