At a recent meeting of the Flying Club Directors, it was announced that an award will be made by the Club, for which the licensed pilots may compete. The award will consist of a handsome trophy and two hours of free flying in the club's plane. Efficiency as a field manager of the airport, a general regard for safety, and the number of hours in the air, are the elements on which the competitors will be judged.
It was also announced that a number of instruments had been purchased for the purpose of forecasting the weather Raving a weather bureau of their own, the members will be apprised of bad flying conditions, without being forced to go to the airport for the information.
