COOLIDGE MAKES HASTY TRIP ABROAD, WILL RETURN SOON

Professor J. L. Coolidge, headmaster of Lowell House, is on his way abroad after a hurried departure on Sunday night, it was learned last night. He is destined for Florence where a member of his family is III, and he is expected to return to Cambridge as soon as possible.

His embarkation was made so suddenly and quietly that few of the House tutors were aware that he had gone. His absence from the Lowell House high table last night was the first intimation that he was not in Cambridge.
