According to an announcement made yesterday by the Harvard Athletic Association, three races for the University 150-pound crew next spring have been approved by the Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports. The first, on May 16, 1931, will be a contest with Yale and Princeton at Derby.
On May 21, the University 150-pound eight will race M. I. T. on the Charles River. Also the 150-pound University crew will compete in the American Henley at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 30.
The second 150-pound crew also has scheduled a race with M. I. T. on May 21. 1931 on the Charles River.
At the same time it was announced that the Freshman 150-pound crew had two races scheduled. The first is with M. I. T. on May 16, and the second with Yale on May 23, both on the Charles River.
The class crew that wins the University championship next spring will race the championship class crew of Yale on the Charles River on May 23.
Also, the University combination crew made up of University and Freshman substitutes will race the Yale combination crew at New London June 18, 1931, it was announced.
