Academy Boys Score Only Once in Slow Game Marked by Scrappy Playing on Both Sides

The Harvard Freshman hockey team defeated Milton, 3-1. in an unexciting game at Milton yesterday afternoon Poor ice along one side of the rinlhindered both teams.

The Freshmen started with a rush J. W. Putnam '33, who starred agains: Melrose Saturday, scored twice in the opening minutes. C. C. Pell, Jr. '33, accounted for the third Harvard goal.

In the last period the Orange and Blue rallied and outplayed the Harvard team, with Hallett. Milton right defense, driving in the puck.

The Milton players were handicapped by the loss of their star center ice man. Beale, who was kept out of the game by a strained ligament.

The Milton outfit failed to work to gether throughout the game, and the Crimson easily got by them on all plays.
