SPRING FOOTBALL PRACTICE ABOLISHED AS UNNECESSARY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In accordance with the opinion of Coach Casey and the athletic committee that spring football practice is an unnecessary adjunct to the football season, it has been announced by the Athletic Association that there will be no formal spring practice this year. Any undergraduates wishing to play spring football will have to do so informally, without the services of a coach.

The abolition of spring practice this year is the only instance of curtailment of the athletic program, and is not being put into effect as an economy, it was made clear by W. J. Bingham '16, director of athletics. The rest of the athletic program for the year is to be continued as originally announced.
