One hundred-fifty more names have swelled the list of students petitioning the University to allow first year men to eat a few meals a week in the Houses without having to pay for extra meals. Yearlings and other undergraduates have joined to bring the total number of names to more than 500.

Because all Freshman are forced to pay for Union meals whether they eat there or not, they foot the bill for two dinners whenever eating in the houses.
