Harvard with 7848 men is the eleventh largest university in the United States, according to a survey recently conducted by Raymond Walters, president of the University of Cincinnati. On the basis of full-time students, the University of California with 20, 388 leads the field. Yale, Princeton, and Dartmouth are not mentioned in the list of the 25 largest institutions.

If the grand total of enrollment including summer and part time scholars is used, Harvard sinks to the twentieth place having only 9485 as compared with the 30,714 of New York University, the highest ranking in this category.
