Kirkland House Postpones Elections Because of Divisionals

Robert H. Rawson '36 has been elected Chairman of the Leverett House Committee for the coming year. Rawson, who prepared at Thayer Academy was one of the Junior eight recently elected to Phi Beta Kappa and has played Jayvee hockey for two years.

Other House committee chairmen who have been elected are: Adams House, Richard C. Johnson '36 of Plainfield, New Jersey; Eliot House, David W. Brown '36 of Garden City, New York; Winthrop House, John Dorman '36 of New York City; Dunster House, Gordon F. Robertson '36 of Hewlett, New York: Lowell House, George T. Skinner '36 of North Wales, Pennsylvania.

Kirkland House has deferred its elections until after the divisionals.

Each man who was elected is prominent in his class. Johnson, who is a letter man on the track team, recently threw the javelin for a new record. Brown, the elected chairman of Eliot House, has been active in House affairs for the last two years and has held the post of secretary and treasurer in his House.

Dorman is one of the leading athletes in the College, winning his letter on the track team and being elected captain of the 1936 soccer team. Robertson, who played on the Jayvee football team, is also on the boxing team. Skinner is a member of the CRIMSON Business Board.
