REIGN OF TERROR CAUSED BY MYSTERIOUS SNIPER IN YARD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A shot followed by a scream of mortal pain! War in Europe? No, merely a suipeshooter on the second floor of Massachusetts Hall taking potshots at passers-by and getting one bullseye.

The bulls-eye was Stephen Brooks '42 of Matthews who was struck in the cheek and slightly injured by a BB shot from an air rifle which caused a panic in the vicinity.

The affair, which culminated in a series of eight broken windows in Straus, was called to the attention of the Dean's office, and disciplinary action has been taken, it was learned last night.
