STUDENTS ORGANIZING FOR CAUSE OF PACIFISM

Henry J. Cadbury, Raymond Dennett To Lead Pacifist Discussion Meeting Tonight in P.B.H.

Feeling "that the pacifists have a strong case and an eminently practical way to prevent war," an organization committee of six students has arranged for a meeting at, 7:30 o'clock tonight in P. B. H. for all persons who are interested in forming a permanent organization to promote the pacifist cause at Harvard.

Henry J. Cadbury '04, Professor of Biblical Literature, and Raymond Dennett '36, graduate secretary of Phillips Brooks House, will lead the meeting in a discussion of "the religious, philosophic, and intellectual bases for pacifism".

Included in the organizing committee are Eric W. Johnson '40; W. Rhoads Murphey III, '41; Hugh Barbour '42; Mortimer Rayman '41, Roger Schafer '41, and Robert Lockwood '43.
